2026 NHSMTC Tabroom
Registration Information
To help you register as a judge for the 2026 National High School Mock Trial Championship through Tabroom, the Iowa State Bar Association has prepared the following step-by-step guide. Our goal is to make the registration process clear and accessible — whether you are new to Tabroom or have used it before.

Go to tabroom.com and click the Sign Up button in the top right-hand corner of your screen.
On the sign-up page, fill in all of the following fields:
- Email address
- Name
- Phone number
- Location
- Password
Click "Create Account." You will be directed to your new account dashboard. Your account is now set up!
Registering to Judge
Log in to tabroom.com. In the top right-hand corner, find the "SEARCH TOURNAMENTS" box. Type "national" and press Enter.
From the search results, click on "National High School Mock Trial Championship in Iowa."
This will take you to the tournament's volunteer sign-up page. Click the "Volunteer Signup" tab on the left side of the screen.
In the "Select a volunteer category" drop-down, choose "Judging Panel Members."
You will be taken to the "Judging Panel Members Signup" page. Complete all fields:
- Volunteer category — based on your occupation or status
- Diversity status
- Rounds you want to judge
- Judges' reception — please plan to attend!
- Legal or professional affiliation
- Conflicts with any participating schools
Click "Register to Judge." Depending on your responses, you may be asked for a few additional details on the next screen. Complete those fields and submit.
Accessing Your Account Later
To review your registration — for example, to confirm which rounds you signed up for — log back in to tabroom.com and click the home icon in the top right-hand corner.
This will display a list of your upcoming judging assignments.
