In 1982, the ISBA established Iowa LawPAC as a voluntary, nonprofit committee to encourage lawyers' active participation in governmental affairs. 

The ISBA and YLD are proud to continue their commitment to fostering a more inclusive and robust legal profession by offering law students the opportunity to participate in the Cady Law Opportunity Program.

The Iowa State Bar Association’s 2025 Annual Meeting was held at Prairie Meadows Events & Conference Center in Altoona from June 23-26. The event was filled with insightful CLE, networking opportunities, and a reflection on the 27-year legacy of outgoing Executive Director Dwight Dinkla.

Each year, the ISBA recognizes members who have been licensed for 50 years. 

The Iowa State Bar Association's newest president, Kathy Law, assumed responsibility for the more than 6,500-member association on June 25.

At this year's ISBA Annual Meeting, held at the Prairie Meadows Events & Conference Center in Altoona, individuals were recognized for their outstanding involvement and significant impact within the legal community as ISBA award recipients.
