The Cady Law Opportunity Program, informally known as The Cady Fellowship, which Drake University Law School previously operated, has relaunched and is now accepting applications under the administration of The Iowa State Bar Association.

District court Judge David Porter will begin serving as chief judge of Iowa’s Fifth Judicial District on Jan. 3, succeeding Chief Judge Michael Huppert following his retirement.
