Biography:
Scott Hall joined Carney Appleby Law as a law clerk during his first semester of law school in December 2006. Before law school Scott spent six years working for GMAC (General Motors) Financial Services in Iowa, Arizona, and Nevada, where he finished up his Masters degree in Business Administration.While attending Drake University Law School, Scott was an active participant of the Drake Law Review as a Junior and Senior Staff Member. Scotts academic note was published by the Drake Law Review in December 2008. Scott A. Hall, In the Best Interests of the Child and the State: A Call for Expansion of Iowas Postsecondary Education Subsidy Law, 57 Drake L. Rev. 235 (Fall 2008) (Abstract of Scott Halls Law Review Note); and it was later cited with approval by the Iowa Supreme Court in 2012. See In re Marriage of Vaughan, 812 N.W.2d 688, 692 (Iowa 2012).Scott was President of Adel Kiwanis Club from 2017-2019. He served as President of the Dallas County Bar Association in 2021, Treasurer in 2020, Secretary in 2019.
