Biography:
I was born and raised in Norwalk, Iowa. I am married and have three children. I opened up Hockett-Clark Law Firm thirty years ago in June of 1993. After 30 years in private practice, I decided to join Hope Law Firm in March of 2023. Early on in my practice I decided to specialize in the area of Family Law. As part of my Family Law practice, I represent parties with the following cases: divorce, paternity, collaborative law, mediation, child support, custody, child support, modifications, contempt's and stepparent adoptions. One of the areas of my practice that I am most proud of is collaborative law. It allows the parties to agree to resolve their issues amongst themselves without asking the court to make decisions for them. Both parties are represented by collaboratively trained attorneys, and we guide the clients through the process of reaching a settlement of custody, visitation, support and asset and debt division. The parties are able to reach their agreement through respective and cooperative discussions which enables them to end the marriage but ensure that they can continue to co-parent their children in a positive way.
