Rural job postings help employers connect with Iowa legal talent

Finding qualified legal professionals can be challenging, particularly in rural communities where attorney shortages continue to impact access to legal services. To help address that need, The Iowa State Bar Association (ISBA) is encouraging employers in qualifying rural and legal desert counties to take advantage of a special ISBA Career Center promotion available through the end of 2026.

Eligible employers may use promo code RURAL to receive one complimentary 30-day Single Job Posting or one complimentary 30-day Attorney Job Posting on the ISBA Career Center.

The initiative is part of the ISBA's ongoing efforts to strengthen Iowa's legal workforce and increase awareness of career opportunities in communities where legal services are critically needed.

Qualifying counties
Employers located in the following counties are eligible for the promotion:

Adair, Adams, Appanoose, Audubon, Calhoun, Davis, Emmet, Floyd, Franklin, Fremont, Grundy, Hardin, Harrison, Howard, Keokuk, Mahaska, Mitchell, Monroe, Montgomery, Page, Pocahontas, Ringgold, Tama, Taylor, Van Buren, Wayne, Winnebago, Worth, and Chickasaw.
