The Iowa State Bar Association (ISBA) is proud to help welcome 48 teams to Des Moines for the 2026 National High School Mock Trial Championship, taking place May 7–9. The competition will bring together 44 U.S. state champions along with international teams from Guam and South Korea.
While volunteer judge spots have been filled, we are still seeking event crew volunteers to help ensure a smooth and successful experience for students and guests.
Event crew opportunities include:
- Assisting with event setup and cleanup
- Directing attendees and providing wayfinding support
- Staffing the merchandise table
- Supporting general event operations
Students will begin arriving May 4–6, with registration, orientation, and the traditional pin exchange on May 7. Competition rounds will be held May 8–9. Whether you can give a few hours or a full day, your support will help create a welcoming and well-run national event.
