The Commission on Continuing Legal Education administers the continuing education program for Iowa attorneys. Each active Iowa attorney is required to attend a minimum of 15 hours of regular CLE each calendar year. The regular 15-hour requirement must include 1 hour of ethics instruction every year and 1 hour of attorney wellness or diversity. CLE reports and fees are due by March 10, 2026.
