Monday, June 30 marked the final day of the Iowa Supreme Court’s 2024–2025 adjudicative term. During the term, the court submitted 102 cases, all of which are now complete. The court’s opinions are available on the Iowa Judicial Branch website.
Additional case materials—including oral argument videos, case briefs, attorney names, and Iowa Court of Appeals decisions from further review cases—can be accessed by searching for the case name or number on the Iowa Judicial Branch home page.
The Iowa Supreme Court began its administrative term on July 1. While the court may schedule oral arguments for attorney ethics cases during this time, its primary focus will shift to overseeing judicial operations and the regulation of Iowa’s legal profession.
During the administrative term, the court:

Continues to consider and dispose of applications for further review

Oversees the admission and discipline of attorneys in Iowa

Prescribes and approves rules of procedure and practice used statewide

Exercises supervisory control over the judicial branch and all judicial officers and court employees
