Iowa Court of Appeals issues over 60 opinions in single day

The Iowa Court of Appeals published more than 60 opinions on Thursday, Jan. 9, in a significant release marking the court’s first major publication of opinions for the year. This surge of decisions addresses a wide array of legal issues including criminal, workers' compensation, and family law cases, underscoring the appellate court’s role in interpreting and clarifying the law for the state. 

The opinions are now available for public access on the Iowa Judicial Branch’s website. Lawyers and judges are encouraged to review these opinions to stay informed on recent developments and nuances in Iowa law.
