The Iowa State Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division hosted a booth at Capital City Pridefest where they handed out legal resources and information to the LGBTQIA+ Community, Friday through Saturday. With representation and volunteers coming from firms across the metro and OUTLaws, Drake Law’s LGBTQIA+ student group, the YLD handed out hundreds of pamphlets, resources, and materials educating the LGBTQIA+ community on their rights, where to find legal help and guidance, and how to access additional resources beyond legal services.
