This course covers what is workplace violence and how to design your workplace environment to be safer. It includes information on the effects of violence in the workplace, caution indicators, preventative steps, safety tips, things to remember if a violent act occurs, and what to report. The final section covers Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design. This is a program designed to involve employees in the proactive approach to making their workplace safer.

Sergeant Robert J. Greenlee III, Waterloo Police Department

Bob Greenlee is a life-long resident of the Waterloo/Cedar Falls. Bob has worked for the Waterloo Police Department for the past twenty-one years and is currently assigned to Watch I Patrol as a Sergeant. Bob attended the University of Northern Iowa with a major in criminology and minors in Sociology and Business Management.

Bob has worked in a variety of different areas at Waterloo PD including, all three Patrol Watches, the School Resource Unit, the Domestic Abuse Response Team, the Public Resource Office, and the Community Service. He is a state certified instructor at the Regional Iowa Law Enforcement Academy in a variety of areas.
