This year’s Federal Practice Seminar promises a deep insight into practicing before our federal courts in Iowa and beyond. Held on December 12, 2014 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Des Moines, the Federal Practice Seminar will range from practice tips from our annual and popular Article III and Magistrate Judges’ Panels to Hot Topics in Criminal Law presented by Ohio State Law Professor Douglas Berman, then from what’s ahead with New Federal Rules of Civil Procedure to "Telling a Story” (Trial Advocacy) from University of Akron Law School Professor Dana Cole.

In addition, Judge Stephani Rose will discuss the tactics and trials of litigating in our multi-media world, and Judge Helen Adams will lead a stellar panel on the New Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. Wayne State Professor Peter Henning will round out our seminar with a discussion of recent ethical decisions about federal court practice.

For federal court practitioners of all levels of experience, this seminar is a must! Even those who don’t set foot in federal court are sure to benefit from the depth of knowledge and experience of our speakers. Please put this on your calendar and register today!
