Do you need to learn the "nuts and bolts" of one or more areas of law? If so, then this seminar is for you! From litigation to family law to the essentials of being a successful attorney, this seminar will help any attorney, regardless of the area of law in which they concentrate their practice to better understand the issues and thus better serve their clients. The seminar is also an opportunity for newer members of the bar to meet and socialize with their peers and become acquainted with the Iowa legal community.

In 2012, the Iowa Supreme Court issued an order establishing a three-year pilot project for an Iowa Business Specialty Court for complex commercial cases with $200,000 or more in dipsute.  This session will discuss the rules and procedures applicable to the Business Specialty Court.
