This presentation will provide an overview of the Iowa adjudication law, suggestions for creating an adjudication stipulation (written or oral) that all parties can live with, and ideas about how to prepare for and conduct a contested adjudication trial. Adjudication is a hearing to determine whether the State has proved that your child is "in need of assistance” and the court supervision is required.
