Iowa Supreme Court issued an order Friday, Aug. 1, setting the time and
location of the public hearing on the issues of diploma privilege and adoption
of the Uniform Bar Examination. The two are among the four recommendations the
ISBA’s Blue Ribbon Committee on Legal Education and Licensure presented to the
court last winter following unanimous approval by the ISBA Board of Governors
at its December quarterly meeting.
public hearing will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, in the supreme court
courtroom on the fourth floor of the judicial branch building. The judicial
branch building is located at 1111 East Court Avenue in Des Moines.
