SPEAKER
Hugh Grady, Director, Iowa Lawyers Assistance Program

Hugh Grady graduated from Duquesne University School of Law 1970. He was a trial lawyer from 1970-1988; Philadelphia, PA and Portland, OR. Hugh was a certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor in long-term residential treatment programs from 1990-1998. Hugh has been the Director of the Iowa Lawyers Assistance Program from 1998. He is a member of Advisory Committee of the American Bar Association’s Commission on Lawyer Assistance Programs; Chair of the Publications Board: Editor of Highlights, the quarterly newsletter for the Commission and Editor of the annual Ethics Case Law Review for the Commission. He is also a monthly lecturer at Mercy First Step.
