The ISBA Center for Law & Civic Education can provide information and technical assistance to educators, resource persons, and others on a variety of civic and law-related areas including:

Mock Trial (classroom assistance to teachers throughout the United States; tournament and logistical assistance to other state coordinators; resource for mock trial cases and information for law-related functions and presentations. The Center Director currently serves on the National High School Mock Trial Championships Board of Directors, and is the former Chairperson for the National Board.)

Law-Related Education (curriculum assistance to educators and resource persons throughout Iowa; resource and clearinghouse of LRE information to international civic educators.)

Civic Education (state, national, and international resource for curriculum, teaching strategies, and program implementation.)

In addition to serving educators and the legal community in Iowa, the ISBA Center has consulted with teachers and colleagues in other states and at national organizations. Moreover, each year, the director visits with dozens of international civic educators to discuss civic and law-related education in Iowa, in the United States, and globally. In recent years, delegations of educators have come from Armenia, Bhutan, Bosnia, Burundi, Czech Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Estonia, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Malawi, Poland, Russia, Rwanda, and the Ukraine.
