ISBA Find-A-Lawyer Service

The ISBA Find-A-Lawyer Service is a directory provided by The Iowa State Bar Association to assist its members and the public in locating an attorney. Search by city, county, or practice areas.

All lawyers listed in FIND-A-LAWYER are members of The Iowa State Bar Association and are in good standing with the Iowa Supreme Court. It is not a list of the full membership of the ISBA.

For a full listing of attorneys licensed to practice in Iowa you should visit the Iowa Supreme Court's website.

The Iowa State Bar publishes a variety of consumer information brochures and pamphlets to help educate the public about legal issues. Two Know the Law brochures you may find helpful include the "Starting a Business" and "Bankruptcy for Consumers" brochures. Although the pamphlets are designed to inform the public, they are not designed to give advice on any specific legal matter.
