2016 Judicial Performance Review results published
The Iowa State Bar Association has released the results of its biennial
survey of judges standing for retention in this year’s general election.
The full results of this year’s judicial performance review, including
biographies of each judge or justice, are available now atwww.judicialfacts.org.
The ISBA has conducted the performance review every two years since 1962 when Iowa adopted its merit system for selecting judges. The review is designed to give voters information on which to base their decisions about keeping a judge in office.
