Constitution Day
Share |

On September 17, 1787, our nation’s founders signed the Constitution. To commemorate this important day in the history of the United States, a federal law has declared September 17 to be Constitution Day and requires that every federally funded school teach about the Constitution on that day. The ISBA Center encourages ISBA members to visit classrooms around the State in observance of Constitution Day and provides materials to members to make their presentation more interactive with students and begin the conversation about the importance of the Constitution in our lives.
